Financial Position
Budget Envelopes - Planned vs. Actual
Each envelope's plan for its own current period (week/month/quarter/year), against what's actually happened so far.
Trend Analysis
Category Comparison Tool
Pick 2–6 items (overall totals or specific categories) to overlay their trends and surface patterns a single chart or table can't show on its own - e.g. which expense category is growing fastest relative to income.
Spending by Category
Expense Category Mix - Trend Over Time
Each category's share of total expense per period, so you can see what a growing or shrinking slice of your spending over time - not just totals.
Cash Allocation Overview
Percentage of every dollar (USD) that left your cash-on-hand, broken down by category - across expenses, savings, and investments together, so you see the full picture of where cash actually goes.

Log an Asset
Things you own that AREN'T already reflected in your transaction history - property, a vehicle, equipment, shares held outside this app, or a separate savings account you don't log day-to-day activity for. Do not log your everyday cash or the bank account you use for transactions here - that's already captured as Cash on Hand, calculated from your Income, Expense, Saving and Investment entries. Logging it again here would count it twice on your Balance Sheet.
My Assets
Log a Liability
Loans, mortgages, credit cards and other obligations to a bank or institution. If it's money you owe (or is owed to you) by a specific PERSON, use the Debts & Credits tab instead, not here - the same debt shouldn't be logged in both places, since that would count it twice on your Balance Sheet.
My Liabilities
Record Debt or Credit (Person-to-Person)
Money you owe to, or are owed by, a specific named person - not a bank, not a store, not your own cash. Loans, mortgages, and credit cards belong in the Liabilities tab instead.

Savings Goals
Default goals: Future Living Expense, Emergency/Miscellaneous, General Financial Freedom. Add more if needed.

Financial Statements
Auto-generates Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement - view all three or just one.
Balance Sheet is point-in-time, valued as of the "To" date above.
Quick Reports
Lighter, single-screen reports for day-to-day checking - no need to run the full statement package for these.

Opening Cash Balance
Cash on Hand is calculated purely from your logged transactions - income minus expenses, savings and investments. If you started using this app with money you already had, that starting amount is never reflected unless you set it here. This is a one-time starting point, not a transaction, so it never appears on your Income Statement.
Budget Envelopes
Plan an amount for a category, then as you log expenses, savings, or investments against it, this envelope tracks what's used and what's left - like handing yourself cash for each category up front.
Email Settings
This address is used everywhere the app sends or drafts an email - statement exports, quick reports, and alert notifications. Change it any time.
Alert Thresholds
Checked every time the app opens. Triggered alerts show at the top of the Dashboard. (For alerts emailed to you even when the app is closed, see "Always-On Alerts" below.)
Always-On Alerts (Email, App Closed or Open)
This build checks thresholds locally, in-app, whenever you open it - that works offline and needs nothing extra. To get an email even on days you never open the app, a small server needs to check your data on a schedule; that can't run from a single local file. Download the starter scaffold below and deploy it once you're ready - it wires the same thresholds you set above into a Cloudflare Worker cron job + Resend email, checking a synced Supabase copy of your data daily.
Data & Sync
This build stores all data locally on this device (IndexedDB) for offline-first use. Connect to IE's Supabase project to enable multi-device cloud sync (see deployment notes provided separately).

Delete My Account
Closing your account is a big step. Once closed, you will not be able to log back in, view your data in the app, or generate new reports - this cannot be undone from your side.
